First impression

It seems like an interesting niche - the “ass shake” - and is exactly what you think it is. Hot black girls shaking their asses. Although there is a large focus on the ebony bum, this does not seem to be a site where there is a lot of anal sex going on. The preview vids are pretty corny. You see a ton of wiggling buttocks, and a bit of sex here and there. There aren't a lot of claims made on the site preview, so it's hard to know what you're going to get.

Our opinion
The main page has an interesting design...There is no menu bar! I've gotten so used to this common feature that it kinda threw me off to not find one. Nonetheless, navigation is relatively easy in this one-page design... just scroll down! From top to bottom, you get the current update, past episodes, bonus content, live feeds and house cams, some advertising, and at the bottom of the page you can find customer service links. I was surprised to find so much advertising, but at least it's at the bottom of the page and not in your face all the time.

The current update has links to both picture sets and videos. Each update happens in three stages, over the course of about a week. Personally, I'd rather see each episode posted all at once so I don't have to wait to see how the scene ends! I guess this is just a way of “milking the update”. Scrolling down from the current update takes you through thumbs of past episodes. Click on a thumb, and you go to a page with a brief (and cheesy) description of the shoot, and links to the pics, and video sets. At the time of this review, there were 71 archived episodes, plus the current update.

For each episode there is one set of pics and three sets of videos. The pics seem to be either really good captures from a DV cam, or taken with a high quality digital camera. It's hard to tell, as they are look good and crisp even though they are only around 640x425 in resolution, but were obviously done at the same time as the video shoot. You can browse the pics as pages of thumbs, or download a convenient zip file. The numbers vary, but you can expect over 150 pics per shoot, and often there are 200 or more.

The videos are broken up into three sets. Clicking on a link to a video set will bring you to a page of thumbs where the set is further broken up into smaller downloads. You can choose from dial-up and broadband streaming options, or download the clips as MPEG files. There is also an option to download the entire set as one .ASF (WMV) file. The video quality is pretty good across the board, but the newer episodes look better than the older ones. File sizes are quite manageable, with the small segments coming in at 7-8 MB on average, and the full length files being around the 25 MB mark.

Content-wise, I have a somewhat divided opinion. First off, I must say that the girls featured here are absolutely exquisite. I don't know how they find them, but damn, that is some high-caliber ebony goodness. I'm also really happy to find a site that can focus on the ass without the anal sex. Very refreshing. The thing that gets me is the stuff coming out of the camera guy's mouth. Fortunately, when the action heats up he shuts up, but I had to turn the volume down because his mawkish play by play was just too much of a mood-killer, not to mention annoying. The action is scripted much the same in each shoot, starting with a strip and and some ass shaking, moving to some oral sex, then into hardcore territory before finishing up with a cumshot on the girl's ass. There are a few episodes with threesomes (both mmf and ffm), and the odd facial here and there, but the bulk of the shoots follow the aforementioned formula.

Speaking of content, there is also some bonus content. Well, a lot of bonus content, actually. Your membership to Round And Brown also gets you full access to 15 other sites, such as Mike's Apartment, Cum Fiesta, and Mike in Brazil. You can also check out some live feeds, but I don't know why you'd bother, when you can head towards all of the download-able content.
